Customized Titanium Slip-On Flanges | CNC Machined by China Suppliers & Factory | OEM Available
Product Description
A slip-on flange is a type of flange connected to a vessel or pipe via a fillet weld. It is classified as a non-welded flange. During design, it is verified as either a welded flange or a loose flange, depending on the degree of integration between the flange ring and the straight pipe section. Flange rings come in two types: necked and neckless. Compared to necked butt-weld flanges, slip-on flanges have a simpler structure and require less material, but their rigidity and sealing performance are inferior to those of necked butt-weld flanges. Slip-on flanges are widely used in the connection of medium- and low-pressure vessels and pipelines.
With years of experience in titanium manufacturing, Yesheng Titanium Industry specializes in producing titanium alloy slip-on flanges (SO), tailor-made for various harsh corrosive working conditions as core components for high-performance pipe connections. We use high-quality titanium ingots, shaped by forging and refined by precision CNC machining.
While retaining the core advantage of easy installation of slip-on flanges, the integrated short neck structure greatly enhances the rigidity and load-bearing capacity of the flange, achieving a perfect balance of economy, practicality and corrosion resistance.

Material Selection Guide
| Grade | Key Properties | Recommended Applications |
|---|---|---|
| GR1 / TA1 (CP Titanium) | Excellent ductility and corrosion resistance, relatively low strength | Highly corrosive, atmospheric, or low-pressure pipelines (e.g., high-purity media, food, and pharmaceutical fields) |
| GR2 / TA2 (CP Titanium) | Balanced corrosion resistance and strength, the most widely used and versatile | Medium and low-pressure corrosive working conditions (chemical industry, seawater, chlor-alkali systems, etc.) |
| GR7 / TA9 (Ti-Pd Alloy) | Enhanced corrosion resistance, resistant to oxidizing acids, and crevice corrosion | High-temperature, strong oxidizing acid environments and scenarios with high crevice corrosion risk |
| GR12 / TA10 (Ti-Mo-Ni Alloy) | Resistant to reducing acids and high chloride ion erosion | Transportation of reducing media such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid |
| GR5 / TC4 (Ti-6Al-4V) | High strength, moderate corrosion resistance, excellent comprehensive performance | Structural and pipe connections requiring high strength and medium corrosion resistance |

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A titanium slip-on flange is a type of flange connected to a pipe or vessel using fillet welds. It slides over the end of the pipe and is positioned so the pipe extends slightly inside the flange. It is highly valued for low- and medium-pressure applications due to its simple design, lower material requirements, and easy installation.
Titanium naturally forms a stable protective oxide film (TiO2), providing superior resistance to corrosion from seawater, chloride ions, organic acids, and strong alkalis compared to 316L stainless steel. Additionally, titanium has a similar strength to steel but only 57% of its density, which significantly reduces the structural load of the piping system.
It depends on your application: GR1/TA1 is ideal for low-pressure high-purity pipelines (pharmaceuticals/food). GR2/TA2 is the most versatile grade for general chemical processes. GR7/TA9 is recommended for high-temperature, strong oxidizing acid environments. GR12/TA10 is best for reducing acids like sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, and GR5/TC4 is suitable for structural parts requiring high strength.
We offer a comprehensive size range from DN15 (1/2") up to DN600 (24"). Our pressure classes support PN6, PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40, as well as Class 150, Class 300, and Class 600 pressure ratings.
Yes, Yesheng Titanium offers full customization services. We can manufacture titanium slip-on flanges with non-standard dimensions, special materials, and custom sealing face types (such as RF, FF, M/FM, T/G) based on your provided drawings and technical specifications.
