Product Description
Titanium is the best of all metals and a key material for reducing weight and increasing efficiency in the aerospace industry. Titanium is resistant to extreme corrosion (seawater/acid/alkali), has no rejection reaction in medical implants, and can be used by the human body for life. At the same time, titanium has strong adaptability to extreme environments, can remain stable from deep cold to ultra-high temperature environments, is non-magnetic, has small thermal deformation, and is suitable for precision equipment and electromagnetic sensitive scenarios.
Titanium Round Bar Key Features
Density is only 60% that of steel (approximately 4.5g/cm³). Still, its strength is comparable to that of steel (e.g., TC4 alloy has a tensile strength of ≥ 895MPa), making it an ideal material for aerospace lightweighting.
Dense oxide film (TiO₂) is formed on the surface, which can resist seawater, chlorine ions, acid, and alkali media (especially resistant to chloride corrosion), with a life span far exceeding that of stainless steel.
Non-toxic and compatible with human tissues, it is the preferred material for implantation of medical devices (e.g., artificial joints, bone nails).
Operating temperature up to 400-600°C (e.g., Ti-6Al-4V), suitable for high temperature components such as engines.
Small thermal deformation, suitable for precision instruments; non-magnetic, used in MRI equipment, submarines, and other electromagnetic-sensitive environments.
